- 1 prepared pound cake or angel food cake, cut into cubes
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (or 2 cups homemade whipped cream)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- Optional: raspberries for extra red color
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in whipped topping until well combined to make the cream layer.
- In a large trifle bowl or individual cups, start with a layer of cake cubes.
- Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the cake.
- Add a layer of strawberries and blueberries (and raspberries if using).
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream and berries on top.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Make ahead for easy party prep — just keep it refrigerated.
- Use store-bought cake to save time, or bake your own for extra flavor.
- Top with mini flags or sparklers for decoration.
