Description

The 5-Ingredient Date Snickers is a simple, wholesome, and naturally sweet treat inspired by the classic Snickers bar, made with dates, nuts, and a touch of chocolate for a satisfying snack without the guilt.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking dish or loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the dates and peanuts until they form a sticky, coarse mixture.
  3. Press half of the date and peanut mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Spread the almond butter evenly over the pressed base layer.
  5. Top with the remaining date and peanut mixture, pressing gently to combine.
  6. In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate over the layered mixture and spread evenly.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  9. Cut into bars and enjoy.
