Description

Air Fryer Cabbage Steaks are a healthy and flavorful side dish where thick slices of cabbage are seasoned and air-fried until crispy on the edges and tender in the center.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the cabbage into 1-inch thick slices to form ‘steaks.’
  3. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the cabbage steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cabbage is golden and crispy on the edges.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  • Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice for added freshness.
