Description
Air Fryer Cabbage Steaks are a healthy and flavorful side dish where thick slices of cabbage are seasoned and air-fried until crispy on the edges and tender in the center.
Ingredients

- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the cabbage into 1-inch thick slices to form ‘steaks.’
- Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the cabbage steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cabbage is golden and crispy on the edges.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice for added freshness.
- Great as a side dish for grilled meats or as a vegetarian snack.
