- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced red onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain fat and stir in taco seasoning with a little water; simmer 5 minutes.
- Brush tortillas with oil and place each in an oven-safe bowl upside down to form bowls. Bake for 10–12 minutes until crispy.
- Fill each tortilla bowl with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and onions.
- Top with shredded cheese and bake for 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with sour cream and salsa. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
- Add avocado slices or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side of guacamole or chips.
