Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce or dulce de leche
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  5. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  6. Make a small indentation in the center of each cookie and spoon a small amount of caramel sauce into the center.
  7. Optional: sprinkle crushed graham crackers around the edges or over the top.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are set and bottoms are lightly golden. Centers may remain slightly soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
