Description

Cheesy Pickle Bombs Explosion are crispy, golden bites stuffed with dill pickles, cream cheese, and melty cheddar all wrapped in a flaky crescent dough or biscuit layer. Bursting with bold flavor and crunch, they make the ultimate party snack or appetizer with a tangy twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 dill pickle spears (patted dry)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough or biscuit dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Optional: ranch or spicy dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, and paprika until combined.
  3. Flatten each crescent or biscuit dough piece into a square. Spread a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each dough square.
  4. Place a pickle spear in the center and wrap the dough around it completely, sealing the edges.
  5. Brush each wrapped bomb with egg wash and place seam side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure to dry the pickles well to avoid soggy dough.
  • Use spicy pickles or add chopped jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Great for game day, parties, or an unconventional snack board.
