- 500g boneless chicken thighs, cut into strips
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons tikka masala spice mix
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- Salt to taste
- 4 parathas (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- 2 tablespoons oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, tikka masala spice, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and salt.
- Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook marinated chicken until fully cooked and slightly charred, about 8-10 minutes.
- Warm the parathas on a skillet or microwave.
- Place cooked chicken tikka on each paratha, top with sliced onions, cucumbers, and fresh coriander.
- Roll up the paratha tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt sauce.
Notes
- Use boneless chicken for easier rolling.
- Parathas can be replaced with naan or roti if preferred.
- Add a drizzle of mint chutney or raita for extra flavor.
- Can be grilled briefly after rolling for a crispier wrap.
