Description

Cilantro Lime Flank Steak is a flavorful, juicy grilled steak marinated with fresh cilantro, lime juice, and spices. It’s perfect for tacos, salads, or serving with rice for a refreshing and zesty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: extra lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  4. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your preferred doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain into thin strips.
  6. Serve with extra lime wedges, if desired, and enjoy!
