- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually whisk in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season the sauce with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the cheese sauce.
- Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
