- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or basil
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy garlic butter sauce. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
- Meanwhile, stir fresh herbs into the cooked rice.
- Spoon herb rice into bowls, top with creamy garlic butter shrimp, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm.

- Use jasmine or basmati rice for extra aroma.
- Add spinach or mushrooms to the sauce for extra nutrition.
