Description

Creamy Garlic Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli & Fettuccine is a rich and satisfying pasta dish featuring tender slices of chicken breast, perfectly cooked fettuccine noodles, and steamed broccoli tossed in a smooth, garlicky Alfredo sauce.   • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to the boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken slices with salt, pepper, and optional Italian seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, add fettuccine and broccoli, and toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter version of the sauce.
  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time on prep.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra depth in the Alfredo sauce.
