Description

Crispy Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings are oven-baked or air-fried to golden perfection and then tossed in a sweet, spicy, and sticky glaze made from honey, sriracha, and garlic. Perfect for game day, parties, or any time you crave bold flavor with a satisfying crunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels. Toss with baking powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  4. While the wings cook, prepare the sauce: in a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Add honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and vinegar. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Once wings are cooked, transfer to a large bowl and toss with the sauce until well coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use an air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, for even crispier wings.
  • Adjust sriracha to taste for more or less heat.
  • Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dip to balance the spice.
