- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
- 1 cup thinly sliced onions
- 1 cup thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup chopped cauliflower florets
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric, cumin seeds, garam masala, red chili powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add water while whisking to form a thick, smooth batter.
- Add the sliced onions, potatoes, spinach, and cauliflower to the batter. Mix well to coat all vegetables evenly.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry pakoras for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.

- Adjust chili powder to control spiciness.
