Description

Crock Pot Philly Cheesesteak (Keto) is a low-carb, slow-cooked version of the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, featuring tender strips of beef, sautéed peppers, and melted cheese, all cooked to perfection in a crock pot. Perfect for keto diets and easy meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 500g (1 lb) thinly sliced beef sirloin or ribeye
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Place sliced beef, bell peppers, onions, and garlic into the crock pot.
  2. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the mixture. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until beef is tender.
  4. About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and cover to melt.
  5. Serve hot, optionally wrapped in lettuce leaves or keto-friendly bread.

Notes

  • Use thinly sliced beef for the best texture; ask your butcher to slice it for you.
  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños.
