Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Fresh mint or edible flowers for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 10–15 minutes to macerate.
- In another bowl, whip cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until sandy and moist.
- To assemble, spoon some cream cheese mixture into glasses or plates, followed by a layer of crumbs, and then macerated strawberries. Repeat or layer creatively as desired.
- Garnish with mint leaves or edible flowers and serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use mascarpone instead of cream cheese for an even richer flavor.
- Add lemon zest to the cream for a brighter touch.
- Great for parties—serve in mini dessert glasses for a fancy presentation.
