Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and most of the sprinkles, saving a few for topping.
- Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Top each dough ball with a few extra sprinkles.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers look slightly soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
