Description

Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, these easy breaded chicken breasts are perfect for a quick dinner or meal prep!


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken to an even thickness.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Place flour in a separate bowl and beaten eggs in another.
  4. Dredge chicken first in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and then coat in seasoned breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes on each side until crispy and fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Remove from skillet and let rest a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, bake in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes instead of pan-frying.
  • Pair with veggies or a side salad.
  • Add Parmesan or herbs to breadcrumbs for additional flavor.
