- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Pound chicken to an even thickness.
- Mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Place flour in a separate bowl and beaten eggs in another.
- Dredge chicken first in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and then coat in seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken 4-5 minutes on each side until crispy and fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from skillet and let rest a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter option, bake in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes instead of pan-frying.
- Pair with veggies or a side salad.
- Add Parmesan or herbs to breadcrumbs for additional flavor.
