Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 packet (0.87 oz) chicken gravy mix
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Bisquick or self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the bottom of the dish, followed by the thawed vegetables.
  3. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken gravy mix and chicken broth. Pour evenly over the chicken and vegetables.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the Bisquick, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Carefully pour this batter over the top—do not stir.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and cooked through.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
  • You can substitute fresh or canned vegetables—just drain well before using.
  • Add shredded cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
