- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 bag (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 packet (0.87 oz) chicken gravy mix
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup Bisquick or self-rising flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the bottom of the dish, followed by the thawed vegetables.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken gravy mix and chicken broth. Pour evenly over the chicken and vegetables.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the Bisquick, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Carefully pour this batter over the top—do not stir.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and cooked through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
- You can substitute fresh or canned vegetables—just drain well before using.
- Add shredded cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
