- 250g (8 oz) twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook twisted pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chicken bites, sprinkle with smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and pour in heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper flakes, and dried oregano. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat well with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
