- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Pat steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
- Toss shrimp in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
- Grill steaks for 4–5 minutes per side (or to desired doneness). Remove and let rest.
- Grill shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- Brush garlic butter generously over both steak and shrimp.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure steaks are cooked to your liking (e.g., 130°F for medium rare).
- For added flavor, marinate shrimp in garlic butter for 15 minutes before grilling.
