A flavorful and juicy grilled chicken sandwich loaded with garlic butter, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and toasted bread — a perfect balance of freshness and richness.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 slices of bread or sandwich rolls
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- Optional: mayonnaise, mustard, or cheese slices
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
- Rub chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Grill for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and nicely charred. Set aside to rest.
- In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
- Toast the bread or sandwich rolls until golden. Brush inside of bread with garlic butter.
- Slice grilled chicken. Assemble sandwich by layering lettuce, tomato slices, grilled chicken, and any optional toppings.
- Top with the other half of the bread, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
- Use ciabatta, sourdough, or brioche buns for extra texture and flavor.
- You can add avocado or crispy bacon for variation.
- Marinate chicken ahead of time for deeper flavor.
