Description
Decadent jumbo pasta shells stuffed with tender lobster meat in a rich garlic butter and cheese filling, baked to perfection and topped with a creamy sauce.

- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- For sauce: 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups milk, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, salt & pepper
- Extra shredded mozzarella and parsley for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes. Add chopped lobster and cook for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, and cooked lobster. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill each cooked shell with the lobster cheese mixture and arrange in a greased baking dish.
- To make the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Add Parmesan, season with salt and pepper, and stir until smooth.
- Pour sauce over the filled shells and sprinkle with extra mozzarella if desired.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen cooked lobster — thaw completely if using frozen.
- You can substitute with shrimp or crab if preferred.
- Make ahead and refrigerate before baking for an easy dinner party dish.
