- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup pepperoni, diced (optional)
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
- Lay out the egg roll wrappers on a flat surface. Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each wrapper.
- Add a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, and if using, top with pepperoni and bell peppers.
- Carefully fold in the sides of the wrapper and roll up tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water.
- Place the egg rolls on the prepared baking sheet and brush with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Feel free to customize your egg rolls with other pizza toppings like sausage, mushrooms, or olives.
- For a healthier option, you can bake these in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes.
