- 1 lb smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into bite-sized rounds
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons butter (for pasta)

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes.
- Add garlic and Italian seasoning to the sausage. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Remove sausage from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt 2 more tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 3–4 minutes, then whisk in Parmesan cheese and black pepper until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Return the sausage bites to the skillet and stir to combine with the pasta.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
