Description
Crispy baked chicken wings tossed in a rich garlic parmesan sauce, perfect for game day or a savory appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss them with baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Once the wings are done, place them in a large bowl and pour the garlic parmesan sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, dry them thoroughly and let them sit uncovered in the fridge for a few hours before baking.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
