Description

A quick and healthy bok choy stir-fry with bold garlic and nutty sesame flavors. Perfect as a simple side dish or paired with rice for a light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add bok choy and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, and chili flakes (if using). Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until bok choy is tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
