Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Cheesecake Dip:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk or cream (to adjust consistency)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla; mix until combined.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt just until no streaks remain. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool completely in pan, then remove and cut into sticks or dippers.
- To make the dip, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time until desired dipping consistency is reached.
- Serve brownie dippers with cheesecake dip on the side.
Notes
- Chill the brownies before slicing for cleaner cuts.
- Add mini chocolate chips or white chocolate chunks to the batter for extra texture.
- Dip can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
