Louisiana Voodoo Fries are crispy, seasoned fries tossed in a spicy, flavorful wing sauce reminiscent of Wingstop’s famous Voodoo Wings—perfect as a snack or side dish with a kick.

- 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke (optional)
- Chopped green onions and parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Spread fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and liquid smoke. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes until combined and slightly thickened.
- Transfer baked fries to a large bowl, pour the sauce over them, and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes before baking and pat dry thoroughly.
- Adjust cayenne pepper and hot sauce amounts to control spice level.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
