Description

This Marinated Grilled Chicken is juicy, flavorful, and infused with a simple yet zesty marinade. Perfect for BBQs, meal prep, or a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, oregano, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably 4–8 hours).
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and let excess drip off.
  4. Grill chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Don’t skip the resting time — it helps retain the juices.
  • You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result.
  • Great served over salad, rice, or inside wraps.
  • Double the marinade and reserve half as a sauce (boil it first if used on raw chicken).
