Description
This Marinated Grilled Chicken is juicy, flavorful, and infused with a simple yet zesty marinade. Perfect for BBQs, meal prep, or a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or vinegar)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, oregano, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably 4–8 hours).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and let excess drip off.
- Grill chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Don’t skip the resting time — it helps retain the juices.
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result.
- Great served over salad, rice, or inside wraps.
- Double the marinade and reserve half as a sauce (boil it first if used on raw chicken).
