Description

  • 4 pounds russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crispy bacon (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
  2. Boil peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain.
