- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- In a skillet or separate bowl, toss mushrooms and onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place each patty on a foil sheet. Top with mushroom-onion mixture. Fold foil to seal completely.
- Grill or bake for 15–18 minutes, or until patties are fully cooked (internal temp 160°F).
- Carefully open packets and top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese. Reseal and let sit for 2 minutes to melt cheese.
- Serve as-is or on buns with your favorite condiments.
Notes
- Use heavy-duty foil to prevent tearing and leaking.
- Add sliced tomatoes or pickles after cooking for extra flavor.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for camping or quick meals.
