- 24 Nutter Butter cookies, divided
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- Optional: extra crushed cookies or whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
- Crush 16 Nutter Butter cookies in a food processor or zip-top bag until fine crumbs form.
- Combine the crumbs with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Crush the remaining 8 cookies and sprinkle over the pie, or decorate with whipped cream and cookie pieces.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- For a firmer pie, freeze it for 30 minutes before slicing.
