Description

Nutter Butter Pie is a rich, creamy, no-bake dessert made with a Nutter Butter cookie crust and a fluffy peanut butter filling, perfect for peanut butter lovers and easy to prepare ahead of time.


Ingredients

  • 24 Nutter Butter cookies, divided
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • Optional: extra crushed cookies or whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crush 16 Nutter Butter cookies in a food processor or zip-top bag until fine crumbs form.
  2. Combine the crumbs with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  7. Crush the remaining 8 cookies and sprinkle over the pie, or decorate with whipped cream and cookie pieces.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

  • For a firmer pie, freeze it for 30 minutes before slicing.
