Description
Oreo Truffles are a quick, no-bake treat made with just three main ingredients—Oreo cookies, cream cheese, and chocolate. Rich, creamy, and irresistibly chocolaty, these bite-sized delights are perfect for parties, gifts, or anytime snacking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 36 Oreo cookies (1 standard 14.3 oz package)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, melted
- Optional toppings: crushed Oreos, sprinkles, white chocolate drizzle
Instructions
- Add the Oreo cookies to a food processor and pulse until finely crushed (reserve a tablespoon for topping if desired).
- In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15–20 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Place back on the baking sheet.
- Immediately top with crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or drizzle with white chocolate if using.
- Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 30 minutes. Store refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes
- You can use any Oreo flavor—mint, golden, peanut butter—for variety.
- For easier dipping, insert toothpicks into the truffles before freezing.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
