Description

A decadent treat combining creamy peanut butter cheesecake filling with a soft, fluffy donut, topped with a sweet peanut butter glaze for the ultimate indulgence.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Peanut Butter Cheesecake Filling:
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Peanut Butter Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 23 tablespoons milk (to achieve desired consistency)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Fill each donut mold about 2/3 full with the batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. While the donuts cool, prepare the peanut butter cheesecake filling by beating the cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  6. Once the donuts are completely cooled, cut a small hole in the center of each donut and fill it with the peanut butter cheesecake filling using a piping bag or a spoon.
  7. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, peanut butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the filled donuts.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra peanut butter flavor, add chopped peanuts on top of the glaze.
  • These donuts are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
