- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Chill dough for thicker cookies.
- Press extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a bakery-style look.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them soft.
