Description

A fun, protein-packed fusion of pizza and steak—these skewers feature juicy beef, melty mozzarella, and classic pizza toppings grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mini mozzarella balls or cubed mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, cut into chunks
  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, toss steak cubes with pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Thread steak, mozzarella, pepperoni, peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating ingredients for variety.
  4. Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until steak is cooked to your preferred doneness and cheese is slightly melted.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
