Description
Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are the ultimate grab-and-go morning treat! These buttery crescent rolls are stuffed with savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, making them perfect for busy weekdays, brunch, or meal prepping for the week.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter (for scrambling eggs)
- Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook the eggs, stirring gently, until softly scrambled. Remove from heat.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. On the wide end of each triangle, layer sausage, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheese.
- Roll up each crescent triangle tightly and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with chives or parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Customize with cooked bacon or ham instead of sausage.
- Use pre-scrambled eggs and pre-cooked sausage for even quicker prep.
- Freeze after baking and reheat in the microwave for a quick breakfast.
