Description

Savory Seafood Log with Crab, Smoked Salmon & Prawns is an elegant appetizer roll filled with a creamy cheese spread, fresh herbs, and a trio of luxurious seafood. Perfect for holiday gatherings or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked prawns, chopped
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Plastic wrap for shaping
  • Optional: 1/4 cup toasted almonds or sesame seeds for coating

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in dill, green onions, crab meat, and prawns. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Arrange the smoked salmon slices slightly overlapping to form a rectangle.
  4. Spoon the seafood mixture along the center of the salmon and use the plastic wrap to roll it into a tight log.
  5. If desired, roll the log in toasted almonds or sesame seeds for extra flavor and texture.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Slice into 1-inch rounds and serve chilled with crackers or bread.
