- 1 lb small red potatoes
- 4 ears corn, cut into thirds
- 14 cups water
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined and shell-on
- 1 lb crab legs (optional)
- 1 lb clams or mussels, cleaned
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Fill a large stockpot with water, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and lemon wedges. Bring to a rolling boil.
- Add the potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes until just tender.
- Add the corn and sausage; cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the crab legs and clams (if using) and cook for 5 minutes until the clams open.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Drain the seafood and vegetables, discarding the lemon wedges and any unopened clams.
- Transfer everything to a large serving platter or spread out on a newspaper-covered table.
- Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with extra lemon wedges.
