Tender, slow-cooked short rib sliders topped with a tangy balsamic cranberry sauce, perfect for gatherings and flavorful bites.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef short ribs
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Slider buns, for serving
- Optional: arugula or baby spinach for topping
Instructions
- Season short ribs with salt and pepper.
- In a slow cooker, combine balsamic vinegar, cranberries, brown sugar, onion, garlic, and thyme.
- Add short ribs and coat with the sauce mixture.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender and falls apart easily.
- Remove short ribs from slow cooker and shred the meat.
- Return shredded meat to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
- Toast slider buns and assemble sliders with shredded short rib and balsamic cranberry sauce. Add arugula or spinach if desired.
Notes
- Use beef broth or water to thin the sauce if it becomes too thick.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated gently.
- Serve with pickles or coleslaw for extra crunch.
