Description
Spaghetti Stuffed Garlic Bread is the ultimate comfort food mashup—perfectly seasoned spaghetti tucked inside a golden, buttery garlic bread loaf. Crispy on the outside, cheesy and saucy on the inside, it’s an irresistible dish that turns a classic meal into a handheld masterpiece.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 loaf of French or Italian bread
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 lb ground beef or sausage (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Combine spaghetti with marinara sauce and meat (if using), then mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center, creating a trench for the filling. Do not cut through the bottom.
- Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the hollowed-out bread, pressing down to pack it in.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic and parsley. Brush generously over the outside and top of the stuffed bread.
- Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Slice and serve warm with extra marinara for dipping if desired.
Notes
- Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for dietary needs.
- Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
- Stuffed bread can be prepped ahead and baked before serving.
