Ingredients

  • 1 cup sprouted chickpeas or lentils
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 cup coconut yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric (optional for color)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, or dill), chopped

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine sprouted chickpeas (or lentils), nutritional yeast, coconut yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, turmeric, and salt.
  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Once blended, fold in chopped fresh herbs.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Serve chilled as a spread, dip, or on crackers or bread.
