Description

Strawberry Delight is a layered no-bake dessert made with a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, sweet strawberry topping, and whipped topping. It’s light, refreshing, and perfect for spring and summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Additional whipped topping, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Chill while preparing the filling.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in half of the whipped topping and spread over the chilled crust.
  4. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Let it cool slightly (not set).
  5. Arrange sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Pour the cooled gelatin over the strawberries carefully.
  7. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  8. Top with additional whipped topping before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use frozen strawberries if fresh are out of season—just thaw and drain them first.
  • You can substitute vanilla wafer or shortbread cookie crumbs for the crust.
  • Add a splash of lemon juice to the cream cheese filling for a slight tang.
