Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a bundt or tube pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening, and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine milk with all five extracts.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and the milk mixture to the creamed mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon warmed strawberry preserves over the batter and swirl gently with a knife.
- Top with the remaining batter and smooth the top.
- Bake for 75–85 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
