Description

A quick and indulgent single-serve dessert made in the microwave using Milo – this super moist cake is rich, fluffy, and ready in minutes with minimal effort!


Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Milo powder
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug or bowl, combine flour, Milo powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add in the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth with no lumps.
  3. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the wattage of your microwave.
  4. Let cool for 1 minute before serving. Enjoy straight from the mug or turn it out onto a plate.

Notes
