- 4 tbsp Milo powder
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug or bowl, combine flour, Milo powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth with no lumps.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the wattage of your microwave.
- Let cool for 1 minute before serving. Enjoy straight from the mug or turn it out onto a plate.
Notes
- Microwave power varies – start with 1 minute and check doneness with a toothpick.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or a scoop of ice cream for extra indulgence.
- Use Ovaltine or any malted chocolate powder as a substitute if Milo is unavailable.
