Description

This tear-and-share puff pastry ring is filled with a creamy, savory spinach, artichoke, and feta dip—perfectly golden, cheesy, and made to impress at any gathering or holiday table.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix spinach, artichokes, feta, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and cut into a large circle. Transfer to baking sheet.
  4. Place a small bowl in the center and gently press to create a ring outline.
  5. Spoon the filling evenly in a circle around the bowl outline.
  6. Cut slits from the outer edge of the pastry to the edge of the filling at regular intervals (like sun rays).
  7. Fold each pastry strip over the filling, pressing to seal in the center.
  8. Remove the center bowl, brush pastry with beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Cool slightly before serving. Guests can tear off pieces to enjoy!

Notes

  • Make the filling a day ahead and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Serve with extra dip in the center for an added wow factor.
  • You can substitute feta with goat cheese or mozzarella if preferred.
