Description

Crispy, golden roasted potatoes with a rich parmesan crust inspired by a viral TikTok trend. These potatoes are buttery, cheesy, and seasoned to perfection, making them the ultimate side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush melted butter evenly onto the parchment paper, then sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the buttered area.
  4. Arrange halved potatoes cut-side down on top of the cheese layer. Press gently so the cut side makes full contact with the Parmesan mixture.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and season lightly with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  6. Roast for 30–35 minutes, or until potatoes are tender inside and the bottoms are crispy and golden.
  7. Let the potatoes rest for 2–3 minutes before carefully lifting them from the pan to keep the crust intact.
