- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter.
- Once melted, stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Return the fish fillets to the pan and spoon the lemon butter sauce over them.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and garnish with lemon slices before serving.
